this has probably been asked already.
i have a g1 with cyan5.0.7.3 followed the instructions exactly as they say and my internal memory wont drop below 34mb. when i had cyan4.XXX it stayed about 8. ive asked 2 other people with g1 what theirs is and its below 10. i have repeatedly flashed, wiped, wiped, flashed but to no avail. can someone please help me here. i have already checked the apps2sd so i know thats not the problem.

what? you want your internal memory to be lower...? then take apps2sd off?

I think he means the reverse of what he said... that it USED 8MB with the older version and now USES 34 with the new version.

The reason for this is simple: The newer version of android is BIGGER.

Get used to it.

heres your answer: all your apps are internal by default, you must go to manage applications, and check apps2sd inorder to have new apps installed to there.

For apps already installed, go to where you see installed apps, click on what ever app you want on sd rather than internal, click on "move"

I dont c why you would rather have apps on sd if you are not short on memory though as it is much quicker internal.

This all has to do with the new apps2sd system in CM5 and new roms
