This is basically similar to GSPACE but it doesn't have ads and people report that it works better(more stable). You can give it a go if you like.

You can disable Gspace ADS using NextDNS as Private DNS, Huawei blocking list and the gspace api in custom filters.
It works well on 2.0.9 and probably for updates also.
L.E.: Use NextDNS App on Android. It works fine to clean ads.

i <somehow> managed to install the play store <without>
certification problems on mate 40 pro global NOH-NX9
while opening and finding any app I wanted - when I installed it it kicked me out of the app - opened some google apps but not with account recognition

Nice to meet you, this year I finally got the mate40pro I've always wanted!
However, the GMS wall is still very thick and I spend most of my time outside of work on it, but it doesn't work at all.
I checked the firmware finder and found a roms marked as EMUI 10 version (harmonyOS), has anyone tried to rollback using this roms on an EU version phone?
