Turning off nat??

Is there a way to do the wifi teathering without nat? A better way to put it is, would there be a way to set a dmz for one computer associated to the phone?

The reason I ask is back in the day with a older htc phone the dun tethering would give my actual edge ip to my tethered computer and there were so many neat things I could do since my provider actually was assigning me a public ip address.
