So, I'm really glad to see, that my copy of files is working and lets people downgrade their bootrom to qualcomm mode and then flash interup-unlock. This small participation is really important for me.
Big Russian thanx to everybody =)

Also, I'm sorry for my English)
well i'm in the process of doing it right now so ill be sure to get back to you and let you know what happens

ok good. just thought that there would have been something new that someone would have wanted to try. im gonna complete the process now

---------- Post added at 10:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:21 AM ----------

i have downloaded the ROM images (Lumia 710 interopunlock without apps - test4.part1,etc). what is the procedure to get them on my device? im thinkin:
-boot into linux
-connect phone in Qualcomm mode
-change to the directory where i extracted the ROM images
-dd if=./os-new.nb of=/dev/sdX9 (where X is the disk)

am i correct?

umm dudes. i think i screwed up. here is what i did:

dd if=./os-new.nb of=/dev/sdb3 (the tutorial said sdX9)
dd: writing to /dev/sdb3: No space left on device
300001+0 records in
300000+0 records out
152600000 bytes (154 mb) copied 7.68984s 20.0 mb/s

after reading the output and clutching my chest, i went onto using the correct partion (sdb9) and this is the output:
775018+0 records in
775018+0 records out
397 mb copied 242.99s 1.6 mb/s

ifi have not restarted the device as yet because i would like to know is this detrimental? what should i do now?

I'm assuming you haven't made a backup...?

If not, then there are dumps of the partition here by bikor, first post of the development thread

Maybe that can help you out

yes i happened to bounce up:

If you are developing fixes for the bootloader 'problem', feel free to grab a copy of the rest of partitions and stuff I posted over this thread here: http://www.mediafire.com/?kknt4lnc3tn7w

so now i am downloading the sdb3.rar file. do i just extract it and copy the contents?

---------- Post added at 11:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:22 AM ----------

ok so i extracted the contents of the rar and there is one file named sdb3. i viewed the contents of my phone before i messed it up and there were 2 folders in it i think. how do i get them to my device from the single sdb3 file?

---------- Post added at 11:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:25 AM ----------

im guessing i should execute

dd if=./sdb of=/dev/sdb3

however the device doesnt seem to be recognized by linux. i reset the battery and went back into Qualcomm mode but my device is not being seen :(

---------- Post added at 11:49 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:34 AM ----------

ok i was able to restore sdb3 and did the hard reset and now the phone has started *phew* what should i report? any information yall may need me to give?

Good to know my Lumia 800 is ideal configuration for Interop-Unlock.

Just paranoid there is always a chance I will kill it.

Should things go pear shaped, how easy is it to put back to stock?

Ебать!
Warning!

After you flashed the Qualcomm bootloader, you will be not able to flash your phone with Nokia Care Suite.
Need to find a way to restore the original DLoad bootloader.

after interop-unlock lumia 710 i get the product activation key error as stated on the first post. i have read the related post but it doesn't make the steps clear...atleast not to me.
do i have to edit that registry value? in that case i will need to install a registry editor then?
