Hi im parag im currently using realme 6i global rmx 2040 but I can't find any custom recovery for my device .
Is there will be a custom recovery for my device?
Warm welcome to XDA. Did you already check the respective device forum. There seems a custom recovery available; however, I don't know if it works or is for your device.

Hi all. I have been a long time silent member since 2004. Back in the day, I've used this site a lot to pimp my Dopod 838 Pro unit. This site is really helpful and full of knowledge when it comes to q&a's. Nice to be back!

Hello there !
I'm 28 years old. I'm new on this forum.
I like improving my stuff. And in this case, I would like to retrofit my Navi system on my Seat Leon. So I would like to learn about upgrading my MIB (MIB1 to MIB2).
I have a lot of topics to read and I hope to succeed in this project.
Talk you soon. I'm gonna inform you about that.

Hello XDA fam, I am here to learn how to mirror screen my S21 Samsung phone to the Ford Sync 4. Well, that is how I found this site at least. Maybe I will find a lot more stuff that I never even thought about. Anyway, I am a family man and I want to go on more road trips :). Anyone that can help a noob out like me that would be great. I really don't even know where to begin on this site.

    Hi ,
I have been rummaging through the forum off and on , and have always been amazed with your level of competence and commitment . The topics are diverse and sometimes feels like maneuvering through a maze . But if it is worth knowing , you can find just about anything out here. I am not much of a techie , but curiousity gets the better of me :) , and I keep coming here to get enlightened. Cheers and keep it going ....:cowboy:

    Hi let's introduce,

I am intersting by computer since college (1995). I don't like black box, so I started to get interested in custom ROM on smartphone. I also don't like to be a product ;). I like to keep control.
I managed to install 2x LOS by myself only by reading you people. Today I created a profile, because I am stuck on my third device :). I am helping friends and family to re new old smartphone. It is quiet a success, to see how people see how there smartphone they thought dead, can still be so useful. After this HTC I will go threw a Samsung for a neighboor.

Hi guys, since long time ago I have read the forums but now It is time I can also write, so this is what I am doing. I like all related with techology and gadgets.

Intros on XDA, thats a new take on chat-room awkwardness. Life-long math nerd turned tech guru/enthusiast. Spend the summers commercial fishing in Alaska and the subsequent winters reading forums and thinking what can be accomplished with the devices at hand! #nerdiam

Well not really sure we're to begin except , the only reason why I joined am posting this is I'm using a moto E5 cruise ver James. I've read on here that u can root . well that's just awesome but when running the commands given by moto just to see if my phone can be unlocked I can't get the five line command string to work I use /adb devices connected in fastboot , enter the command for me to get five line comm string together and here I am still not working please help

Hi! I'm new to XDA , I was searching for info about my new Oppo Reno 6 5g. Hope I will have your help and wisdom ;)

    Hello everybody,
I'm French and I only use GNU/Linux since 2004 for client and server. I don't remember when I discovered CyanogenMod but it was a revelation for my mobile Sony Xperia X10 Mini Pro (U20i) :)
Since then, I have been using CyanogenMod, LineageOS and others ROM for my mobile. I actually choose my mobile based on the available and active ROM :p
I am here to continue to advance projects around alternative to stock ROM, share my experience on some devices and improve my English.
A big thank you to all the people who participate in this forum!

Hi , new to this site. Have been recommended it as very helpful.
Former airline employee with 35 years experience.
My phone issue is a Moto G4 plus, that recently has had problems.
I've bought another Motorola G10, but would still like to resurrect the above : )
    Cheers,
    David

Hi I think you all are so cool.

    Hi everyone.
I have beven using xda for several years. my first smart phone was the HTC touch pro. Had lots of fun hacking and taking that old slider.

I have also rooted a LG devices over the years. I recently ordered the Pixel 6 pro from Spectrum mobile. It should arrive in a couple days. I am anxious to see if I can use the guides here to achieve root on my new phone.

Hi,tech enthusiast here...glad to be a member of this platform and community as well. XDA has taught me much about phone tinkering and advanced customizations, that I couldn't find on YouTube or one of those trippy sites.
Not that old here, just thought it was about time i make an account to appreciate the developers n share my experience with other users.

    Hello to all,
I'm used to install custom roms on my android devices. I've been on xda for a while but without any account.
    I jump in today!
Today i just installed an unofficial lineage os on an old Xperia Z3 tablet. I will be able to give feed back on this development.
    see you
    Philippe

    Heya all,

I got to say that the welcome and support around here seems awesome and I only just joined. I am an IT officer who has decided to start using the Android Open Source Platform with no GAPPS (Google applications). I'm going to see if i can live without Google services (no micro G) and I will be using both F Droid and the Aurora Play Store to get apks as safely as possible.

My aim is to be able to make better choices about what data I share, and how its used, as I think we should have the right to do so. I want to own my own mobile and its operating system, not have it own me!

I've started out a bit rough as my 2nd install of the Lineage OS, this time on a OnePlus 7T phone, has left me without the ability to use the dialer. That said, i think the answer can be found in this thread over ere :)

Cheers and thanks for the welcome.

More than anything, XDA is a community, and we're all here for different reasons.

Some are here to mod their phone--some joined just to ask a question. Or perhaps, like many, you joined so long ago, you have no idea why you're here (which is totally fine! we've been around for almost a decade). And we're in the process of making XDA more useful to everyone here now that we've moved to much better forum software.

But we'd love to know your XDA story: why are you here, and who are you? What's your day job, what phones do you have, where do you live, what do you like to do for fun? We'd love to get to know you!

Also, be sure to spend some time filling out your profile:

And also adding what phones you have to your inventory:

:cowboy: thanks and welcome. I'm one of the guys in charge and my DMs are always open if you ever want to chat or even complain.

Go ahead and make a new thread in this forum instead of replying to this post.

Well hi all, I'm 'new', but not really that new, since I've been searching through XDA topics on many occasions for quite a few years now. Not sure why it took me so long to actually make an account, but here I am.
So about me - half geek, half creative, F/LOSS enthusiast for over 20 years, full time Linux user since 2006, interested in way to many subjects to ever become a specialist in any of them within at least a dozen of life spans. Hence I don't think I'll ever be able to call myself a developer, but hey, we'll see ;-)

Very interested in Android technology and rooting.. that being said I used to be able to root a Android phone fairly easily but this was 10 years ago but now it has become more difficult for me
