I have a lot of old hardware on which I am not willing to give up. In this moment I was struggling on installing firefox on an T560 Tablet - I read this forum - did a few steps and it is now in a state where I should be able to install current apps. I am convinced this is one of the forums which will outlast a lot of other internet sites. Basically I want to thank everybody of you for your work - together we are making a change! Hello, I'm an idiot who bricked a rooted M53 into bootloop by trying to flash TWRP.

Already searched the yellow message in all google results including forums, reddit and youtube, but all solutions include going to recovery mode, that disappeared, or reflashing the firmware (the download mode doesn't show progress bar anymore and Odin says it failed, everytime).

Besides "set warranty bit : vbmeta", the charging icon changed, hiding the numbers as you can see in the second picture.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi there, I learned how to root android about 15 years ago on xda and then was reading here often. In the last years I had nothing to do with android modding and so on, so I didn't visit xda and almost forgot about the forum. Since I got another android device and saw, that there was root available, I got in touch here again. And as I hasn't been very careful, I ended up making an account posting my first problem here

Hello, i'm using redmi note 6 pro almost 4 years and i like pixel expirience on it. I flashed this ROM when i was escaping occupied part of Ukraine, and FSB of Russia didn't event understood that there should have been MIUI. Also my MIUI is bricked because i forogot email and a password for it's profile.

I have been installing my first custom ROM on a MI4, lineage. still have the phone.
I am NO developer but like playing around and testing ROMS, currently on my Redmi Note8, old but still very usable. MIUI releases took too long and it is way too bloated so now I am on my 2nd ROM. 1st Derpfest which did not work so great and currently on Arrow OS and much better. Learning all the time
