Since your settings won't open, you will have to use root explorer (or es or whatever file explore you use) go to system/build.prop and open. It will tell you there.

I believe it says nie. I used galaxy tools and those are the last 3 letters on software

There's your problem.
To get you by, download and flash my transparent theme. It is for nie. Wipe your dalvik cache after flashing. I will put together a stock flash for you tomorrow if I can find an nie rom.

Just flashed transparent theme. .not a big fan of the theme but it got my settings working again. Thanks again
Will be waiting for the holo theme. .it looks sexy. Also how do you activate call recording? I don't see an option to turn on during calls

You have to edit the smali. I did not include it on that theme.
