FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS

-It is very fast and light-

PureSlim's size is only 165MB. With our PureGapps that weights only 36MB, you have lots of space to have your own stuff carried. Of course, all features essential is still there.

-It is beautiful-

We have themed the ROM dark black everywhere. From settings to your status bar, it is really dark. And, you can use CM Theme Manager to change your theme.

REQUIREMENTS

SONY Xperia Xperia Ion with unlocked bootloader. Also please note that default OpenSEMC kernel is included.

Thanks. Would love to test this rom but I am stuck with a locked bootloader. I am a noob with very little knowledge so I ask.. is it possible to do this rom for locked bootloader like @MrGezz recently did with CM10 (which is a great rom I must say).

Oh, Sorry to hear that :( Sorry, there are no ways to use KitKat on stock kernel with locked bootloader :(

This is what I wrote on the Xperia S thread but I write it again here. ;)

RAM is to be used ;) Think you bought 16GB SD card and you only use 2GB. That is waste of money right?
RAM is same, of course, when more RAM is used, the phone gets slow.
PureSlim has deleted bloatwares, so it should have more RAM left than other ROMs. (Because there are less system apps running in the background)
In final words, enough RAM is free for smooth experiences ;) Don't worry. You will like it.

i did install the rom n its working fine the only thing that i am facing is that after restoring the backup of my messages, there is no conversation showing when i press my messaging icon

plz help...............

i use titanium backup pro

Yep i noticed that it's smooth !
About how much ram that is availible i can answer my own question
Without gapps around 300 free
With gapps around 280 free
