Hi folks - I have one of the square ipod nanos (6th gen) and I use it all the time but it is the last remaining Apple product I have and it's the only reason I still am stuck using crappy iTunes. Is there any kind of tiny Android device that would be similar in size but that would run Google Play Music so I can scrap my iTunes?

I know you can sync from iTunes to Google Play Music but it works very poorly and if I build playlists in Play Music there's no way to push them into iTunes.

There's nothing that small. My favorite mp3 player was my Sansa Clip Zip, but it met with an unfortunate fate, and replacements (since it's discontinued) are absurdly expensive, and the newer iterations aren't getting good reviews.

I admit I do love iPods' interface and functionality (I have a 3rd gen Nano and a 160gb Classic), but there's no denying how much ass iTunes sucks.

I just picked up a Sandisk 128gb microSD card (for $40!), and will be using it my my Galaxy S4. Even though I don't consider my S4 to be my primary device, it's the one I keep the SIM card in and use as my internet server. That job used to belong to my Galaxy Light, which, while a POS, its small size worked great in that regard. I've been pondering getting an S4 Mini to use instetead for this purpose. It's small, thin, and very light, and with decent enough hardware to do what you need. The AT&T version is rootable, so you can install sound mods if needed. It's not iPod Nano small, but this or something like it might be the best choice for an Android music/media player.
