don't know if it was you're newest version...or the waiting one second that did it, but i somehow got it all working! took awhile, but finally got all the items that i need functioning properly on:

samsung hdtv (model pn50b650s). buttons working: power on/off, volume up/down
scientific atlanta cable box (model explorer 4250hd). buttons working: channel up/down, channels #s 0-9
onkyo av-receiver (model tx-sr605). buttons working: power on/off, volume up/down, input selections 1-9

that is all i need for now. i will work on the samsung blu-ray player later. thanks for the great work! really appreciate it! :good::good:

also, i am using this on the carbon rom which is pretty much my daily driver. the only thing that kept me going back to stock was the remote...

thankfully, now i have no real need for stock. :laugh:

@francarl....I have seen that on a version or 2 of this app before. What version are you using? I think mine just updated to v.1.7.0.0

A few posts above yours, I posted a link to an older version....you could try uninstalling the app, then try installing the older version and when it opens say "NO" to letting it update. Then download whatever files you need. After the downloads complete, close the app, then open it again and this time say "YES" to the update and all should be good.

Are you choosing the "sharp TV" from the menu after writing to the remote app?

There is a slide-out menu from the left side of screen...slide your finger from left edge and the menu will slide out. If you set up the remote correctly, then you should see the sharp TV in the list.

Also, I have found the you really have to point the IR directly at the TV's IR receiver for it to work. The range of these phones is not very wide. But it does work very well for all of my devices.

Also try checking size of files in /sdcard/irremote_keys/[device name]/*.bin. If file size is 5 bytes, remove it and learn again
