Are you choosing the "sharp TV" from the menu after writing to the remote app?

There is a slide-out menu from the left side of screen...slide your finger from left edge and the menu will slide out. If you set up the remote correctly, then you should see the sharp TV in the list.

Also, I have found the you really have to point the IR directly at the TV's IR receiver for it to work. The range of these phones is not very wide. But it does work very well for all of my devices.

Also try checking size of files in /sdcard/irremote_keys/[device name]/*.bin. If file size is 5 bytes, remove it and learn again

Hi,
my xperia zl has a build date before eighteenth week of 2013 (13W11 as reported on label under sim and sd cards) so ir blaster can't learn from remotes.
I really need codes for LG TVs (2013 models), can anyone help me, please?

Edit: I need only few codes, like input, power, vol+ vol-, prg+ prg- numbers, ok and navigation

In samsung and philips TV does not work very well Vol up and Vol down function, and not records signals that teaches with the remote control ...

if fix this is perfect

When im trying to download the .apk file, Google Drive just says this :

Hmmm, I think it is because of SELinux disabling. I'll reupload it

hi,

is there any way, this app will run on xperia z2 tablet?
i installed apk manually and through play store, but on startup occurs hint, "device not supported"? does this check only examine the tablet device id (or anything like this) or does it confirm an special ir blaster of the ZL?

As I remember it is checking if device exists in /dev

so there are different ir blaster for the ZL, Z Tablet and Z2 Tablet? do you have any further information about that? i'm on cyanogenmod 12.1 nightly and try to find any working ir app.
