is anyones compass acurate

The compass on my tmobile note2 is way off, probably about 15degrees. I want to know if this is a problem with my device or all.

You need to calibrate it. Download one of the compass apps from the market that lets you do that.

If you use a holder/holster with a magnet latch it will mess up compass.

actually that's not possible, an app cannot calibrate a sensor. It simply does not have the permission. Any app that has calibration will only effect the app itself. and yeah, the magnet that detects the s-pen in this phone is unusually strong. I think it's throwing many things off.
