Is daydream compatible with root and custom roms?

I have just purchased today a Pixel XL and i would like to root it and flash a custom rom. Are there any issues with daydream Vr?

I'm running stock rom but rooted and Daydream works fine. You do need to get the daydresm app from the playstore. I don't know about custom roms.

Worked fine on WETA. I haven't tried it on Pure yet.
