The idea of having a portable Nvidia Shield TV with the Nintendo Switch is very exciting to me. I know that
1.
I guess the Switch Display itself only supports 60hz.
But is it possible wgen docked to switch the refrehrate of the TV for smooth video playback?
Can Kodi or other Multimedia Apps switch the Refreshrate on the fly to 23.97, 24, 50, 59,98 hz?
2.
Is it technically possible to spoof the Switch Android port to be a Nvidia Shield TV to get Widevine Level 1 support to watch DRM protected video content in HD instead of SD?
I understand that LineageOS is a thirdparty Android fork (f.k.a. cynagenmod?!) and the Nvidia Shield TV runs a google licensed Android TV firmware.
Would someone forward these suggestions to the development team? I think these would be some really awesome additions to make the Switch Android Port a great place for A/V Enthusiasts.
