If you flash magisk, you shouldn't need the no verity zip.

well that would be a waste of time if you want root
just calm down and try different things slowly and calmly ...follow the steps ...you will be fine ..retrace to the last good step ...go format your /data partition ...go flash magisk & noverity &boot

I was gonna do that but im not sure how to tell which one to choose. I have a sprint variant and there are 4 other sprint variant. And I didn't see the instruction saying it required an SD card...
The one that has sprint and 7.1.1 in the title is for sprint. I used the one without 7.1.1 for my virgin mobile version.

are you actually reading and taking anything in or just pressing whatever ..starting from the guide ...what are you doing in fastboot ? just get an sd card and put no verity and magisk on it and then go back to twrp and actually FOLLOW the advice step by step ...

when you wiped did you wipe data or system ? didnt you make a backup before starting this whole journey by just booting twrp not flashing it via fastboot ...? anyway ..good luck

Slow down dude. In bootloader mode the volume button scrolls through selections. But your phone is not going to boot until you do as @KevMetal suggests and follow the instructions.
Format your data and flash magisk.

Yeah, I was being a bit too fast. Now I just need to make the System r/w like the guide says.

Yeah, I can use my phone now! But if I go into TWRP and flash something will it mess up my phone or not?
Well that depends on what you flash dude. There is always a risk when you flash anything. Make a full backup first. What are you thinking of flashing?
