Is it possible to share kindle fire 7 7th gen Wi-Fi with smart tv?

I know their are a lot of apps that say they do this, but none seem to work. I'm trying to share my guest wifi with a smart tv, but need to create like a hosted network type of situation. Maybe somebody has a clever workaround not requiring a computer. Thanks guys.
