Question Is it possible to trade in my phone after tripping knox (and unrooting)

Hello, I've been thinking of rooting my s22+ but I want to trade my phone back into at&t once it comes time for an upgrade. Will at&t check to see if knox was tripped before they give me the credits towards my new phone?

Ask them. They may not even check or care but it would likely void any insurance coverage with them if you have it. If you can even do it; it's a Snapdragon which are notoriously hard to root safely. Using a 3rd party vendor to unlock the bootloader is a bad plan, a huge security risk.

If it's Snapdragon S906U it can't be rooted or bootloader unlocked

AT&T probably won't care. Un-rooted is not a criteria for trade in. The only things AT&T (and other carriers) care about is physical condition of the device and whether it turns on. Traded in devices are usually sold to refurbishers.

I traded my (knox tripped) note 9 couple years ago with Samsung USA. Went through smoothly.

I had no issue trading a knox tripped S20 with Samsung France.
I locked back the bootloader and installed the official system before sending it

I am planning to trade in tripped s10+ with official firmware and locked bootloader.
Will it effect the trade in for Samsung singapore?
I am confused as trade in value will reduce the price greatly. Did they change policy or something recently?
