Just call your carrier and trek then your traveling overseas and would like the unlock code. In most cases they'll give it to you. For free!

Tried that guide and it did not work! Still get the sim unlock code message. Also the carrier is rogers so it cost $50 to get the unlock code lol

Why go through Rogers to unlock it? Way cheaper if you use cellunlock.net or cellunlocker.net

How much does the cellunlocker.net charge?
From what I know the carriers are cheaper then most online companies

unfortunately the website you have listed cellunlock.net DOES NOT UNLOCK TELUS...!!!

Didn't require unlocking to root!

Does anyone still know what the unlocking policies are in North America? I heard it got harder to unlock phones via carriers.

i unlocked this s4 it was with koodo but know trying to use it with wind mobile but it wont give me wind on the register compenys it says wind away can anybuddy help me fix this email [email protected] thaks

The sgh-i337m does not natively support Wind frequencies. The Videotron/Wind version of the phone is the m919v.

Easiest way to unlock it is to downgrade to 4.2.2 and then run RegionLock Away. Once you're done you can upgrade again and it'll remain unlocked.

You can't downgrade to 4.2.2 from 5.01. Flash the 4.2.2 modem, root, run regionlockaway, flash back to 5.01 modem, i747m should be network unlocked.

mine is am i337m Distributed by Telcel Mexico, are the instructions right? (flash 4.2.2 modem and stuff)?

Already rooted with Auto CF ROOT, installed TWRP (jfltecan), so I'm pretty sure the model is correct.
