Never had a OnePlus device but I used to have a Galaxy S6 & with Touchwiz, KNOX, & horrible battery life alone would make this a perfect upgrade like ten times over, hell this OnePlus 3T will be the phone that makes me come back to Android from the dark side.

Lol iPhone user above ?

But yes I agree with most that ts worth upgrading, losing out on display maybe a bit with the PPI and tbh I wish it had been a bit higher on paper than the 401 ?... But I ordered mine yesterday (128gb) for the price tag you can't go wrong... Looking forward to it I'm due for an upgrade and treat ?

Lol yup, coming back over from the dark side [emoji23]

EDIT: oh & I'd take the downgrade in resolution as a huge blessing as it'll make for better battery life. In my opinion these 2K displays on phones are overrated.

This is one thing I keep hammering people who complain about the no 2K/4K display also. As I came from my Note 4, so I know too well. But it's not the just battery life, but graphic performance also. Once you get close to 7-inch or more then it start to make more sense. Unless you use VR a lot then yes more resolution is great, but I don't see it as a good use at this point. Even for notebook, 4K is a bit overrated, many older apps can't take advantage of the higher res screen well. And I deem that as both the app developer problem for not staying up to date and OS for not making the UI flow when they update their OS.

Yeah I am in the same situation, own a Note 4, and the reason for me thinking in getting a OP3T is anyone's guess, TouchWiz. The display and the camera are putting me off, but the low price is sucking me in, LOL. Just remember the display is Pentile, so its not exactly 1080p. Never ever owned a phone from a new and unknown brand but features like Dash charging, the built etc., are really nice. Lets see.

If I can get two OP3T's for the price of one Pixel XL, it made my mind up. Currently using a Nexus 5, with cracked screen,, so I do like the specs upgrade. Cant wait until it comes. Ordered mine yesterday ☺
