Hi, I have a Moto X 1052 with lollipop 5.1. Sadly I also have the infamous Mobile Standby bug.
If I root my phone, would I have any chance to make my battery life better (especially with the xposed module which allegedly fixes this problem)? I have now 3h of screen time tops, even with mobile data always off (after rebooting, thus no "mobile standby" activity, otherwise I would have even less battery).
Moreover I don't want to flash non-stock roms, because I don't want to lose active display and moto voice. I also have one more year of warranty, so I would like to be really sure about it if I had to lose it.

dude, root your phone and enjoy it. The Mobile data xposed fix works very well on moto x 2013.
I no longer see mobile data battery consumption if data is off, and when on it doesnt surpass 1%
Go for it. :good:

Really, no one is able to answer this simple question? :silly:
Error, your mad because we can't tell you what to do with your stuff?

Its your choice man, balance how much you enjoy the root programs you use or would like to, with how much you value the warranty on your phone.

Judging by the endless threads here on how to root, it seems like we generally like root.

Yeah of course, I was a root enthusiasts too on other phones. But since I find moto x complete per se, I'm only interested in knowing if with root I can fix the mobile standby bug and how much battery gain I can get. On Kitkat I was used to 4/5 hours of screen on time, now I only reach 3.
It's quite a simple and I think reasonable question actually, I'm not mad or anything.
