Is seed and crackling the same thing?

Hello,

since the stop of cyanogen I've start to search something else and I've discovered that the wileyfox swift and the android one 2nd gen are pretty much the same.

So, can I install a custom rom made for "seed" in my swift just by flashing that?

Yes. They are just identical but just with different names. You can install seed roms but you may need to install seed twrp as some zips will detect your device as crackling and won't install it. Just install seed twrp on your device and you should be ready to go!
By the way, I'd make a backup in crackling twrp first. Also, you won't be able to restore crackling backups in seed twrp. You'll just need to swap.

Actually I'm just gone back to the last cyanogen snapshot but as soon as wileyfox make clear what happen to the device I'll try this
