No it is not. The SDK for daydream VR only supports the 821 cpus and above, per Qualcomm's design and implementation.

Strange that the jury is still out on the 6p and it's 810. No one can definitely answer weather the 6p will support daydream as of yet. So there's still hope.

All we know is that Qualcomm themselves don't support the 820 in their Daydream VR, or anything below it. Only 821 and above. So, realistically the 6P is out too. There are significant additions to the internal architecture besides a slight speed bump between the 820 and 821, that affect VR processing.
