I'm still within the 14 day purchase and want to return my note 3. The problem is I rooted and got the custom status padlock. I've tried every single way to fix it posted on this forum and google. Aside from the root problem I can not deal with the wifi issues and low earpiece during phone calls that I've been getting. Can anybody here point in the right direction. I have full root access and running MJ5.

The goal is to hardbrick and not let the custom status screen turn on.

Any help is appreciated thanks guys.

It will, just don't do the last step (rldv.zip) and reboot twice
Well Mr. Evilpotatoman I bid you good day sir. I could of taken the easy way out and just took my note 3 for a spin in the toilet and called it a day, but After a couple of hours everything is now set and good as new. Thank you very much.

Tomorrow I will return to the AT&T store, return the phone and get my maw-knees back. :highfive:

I want to also get back to factory stock...due to my phone's been acting buggy after messing with wanam xposed. Did you root using Kingo? I am wondering if this would work for mj5 rooted with kingo? Thanks!

Yes sir, I rooted with Kingo. I was on MJ5, i accidently took the OTA when i connected to Wifi. This is the only method that worked for me. Like Potatoman said, complete the procedure and padlock will erase and everything will be squeaky clean like the day you opened the phone box.
