Quick update on my note.
I've been okay so far with my green battery note7. Nothing odd on the note, everything is functioning as before. I have stopped all possible updates within the phone. Stock phone, not rooted. At least not yet.

Well on my first note mine was set to manual and it pushed the update through regardless a few hours after the notification arrived. IMO anybody able to root has nothing to lose by rooting if they're intending to keep it at this point.
Yeah nothing except.
1 Knox is tripped
2 No more secure folder
3 Samsung pay becomes disabled

Package disabler. Disable System update SDM's. Don't touch anything to do with Knox though.

Disable these:
Security policy updates
Software update
System update 1
System update 2

I've had those frozen on both my original Note 7 and my replacement Note 7 and get no OTA's at all. Don't think they can push them to you with these disabled.
My Note 7 has:
Security policy updates
Software update
Software update
UrgentFWUpdateTSP

I disabled all 4 of them. Will update if I have any problems.

I found them by searching for "update"

The UrgentFWUpdateTSP sounds like what they will use to push a kill switch or battery crippler to them.

same here! I don't have the "software updates".
So I a bit scared, and have disabled these instead. (not sure if they are the right one though, I just disable those names that look "suspicious".

KnoxAppsUpdateAgent
Security policy updates
Software update (com.sec.android.soagent)
Software update (com.wssyncmldm)
UrgentFWUpdateSensorHub
UrgentFWUpdateTSP

hopefully those works. Do update if yours doesn't....

btw, today I just received a pop-up, even with the above disabled, informing that there will be a update end of the month. :(

Package Disabler Pro does block updates(ON THE OLD VERSION ("DONT UPDATE" package disabler pro it re enables updates in the version released today!!!! ))
(my app has not been updated so if you need my APK let me know) (i found this out by reading the change log on today's updates)
You can stop the OTA if you disable the following:-
Software Update - com.sec.android.soagent
Software Update - com.wssyncmldm
UrgentFWUpateSensorHub - com.samsung.firmware.sensorhub
UrgentFWUpateTSP - com.samsung.android.firmware.tsp

Hi guys,

just bought Package Disabler Pro before reading this warning and indeed there's no
UrgentFWUpateSensorHub - com.samsung.firmware.sensorhub
UrgentFWUpateTSP - com.samsung.android.firmware.tsp

Is there any way to roll back to 6.3 ? Any place to find the previous apk in a legal way since I purchased the app ? I'd really like to avoid updating my beloved N7

They mean Version 6.3. Version 6.4 was just updated today.

I tried enabling USB debugging and using adb shell and pm (package manager) cmd from adb shell.

adb shell pm disable com.samsung.android.firmware.tsp
and
adb shell pm disable com.samsung.firmware.sensorhub

I unfortunately get a 'permission denial : attempt to change component state from..." which I guess means I have to root the phone. However I don't understand then how the 'package disabler' app does without any root permission ?!

Still no-one with version 6.3 who could share it before tomorrow's update ?

OK just loaded version 6.3 and disabled the two firmware update agents. Then checked using adb shell command
adb shell pm list 'packages' -d

and they show disabled OK. Perfect.
Go for version 6.3 guys !

Do you know if any of these break Knox or Samsung Pay?

These are what I disabled...

The other 3 that were suggested to disable were missing on my phone when I tried to manually disable them
