I don't know whether it is any good but I found this on eBay last night http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350422142456
It has belt loop. Still I think Tab is too big to put directly on the belt. I think it would be better if the Tab case was attached to the belt with two 2-3 inch long loops.
DAYM THATS GONNA BE HUGE.. really didn't think about it more now.. i was really going for a holster that would go in a vertical position or a case with a swivel clip that attached to the back of a case on the tab to easily lift off and in.

haha a fanny pack..

so how do you all carry your Tab right now? For me it's winter up here so it fits ok into my winter jacket but when summer comes I don't know how I'll be carrying this thing around. My wife joke around and said that she'll get me a manpurse for it LOL.

Well its still in my back pocket a lily worried since its raining here in Cali now and that before I get in the car I have to take it out of my back pocket if I had a side holster I could just sit inside and pull the holster off the side of my belt, at least my liveview helps me from having to remove it from my back pocket but the liveview isn't waterproof either lol

I'm tellin' you, the safari vest is the way to go. Not only are the pockets big enough to hold the tab but it is a fashion statement. Plus, since it completely hides the tab from view, no one will think you're carrying a huge ass phone around.:p:D

Nope, let me insist, a fur sporran is definitely the only way to match this thread, and a timeless fashion statement :)

This one looks pretty good. Its a case/bag that lets you attach straps and can be used as a ordinary bag or as a holster in various setups.

edit: after 60 seconds of serious contemplation i odered one. I can imagine several good uses for this from cycling, running to just attaching the tab to random objects.

Guys, i.think the dilemma is what to do when the weather warms up. I to am carrying the Tab in my jacket pocket for the Fall and Winter weather. Seems to work out so far.

I don't carry a briefcase/backpack/shoulder bag on a regular basis, The galaxy tab bag looks alright, especially partially hidden under a shirt or something when on your waist. (the wife finds it odd looking) I worry about the bumps and bruises from walking around with it.

It's great to be able to share the same concerns that some of you have. I didn't have any idea of the number of other cases that are around.

Thanks all, just my 2 cents.

Edit: this is response to marksman338 about the cargo pant post.

I tried that, but you will find that the weight of the Tab and the walking motion makes for a not so pleasant stroll when it rocks back and forth. Maybe it's just me, but it felt odd.

Here in South Korea a lot of men wear bags. They start as youngsters trying to be fashionable, but then find out the practicality of it. This stops as they get a business type job, but off hours the bags come back out.

I use one I actually got in the states from REI a few years ago. Lots of pockets black fabric and an over the shoulder strap that hangs the bag on my hip. (I'm 6'2" so that's a long strap!) I carry my tab, camera, sunglasses, passport and IDs, and some medicine and hand sanitizer. For Christmas I got a cream faux leather with rust colored fabric stripe case from Verus. It make the tab look like a book, and has a front that folds back to make a stand. Around the house and office that's all I need, and it slips into my bag for when I go out.

When I visit the states I'm just careful where I wear the bag. Its a no-no in bars!, LOL!

i just squeeze it into my front jean pockets, least it cant fallout out, but i have to stand up to take it out/put it in lol
That's what I've been doing too, although since it's winter it does fit nicely in my jacket pocket. I did pick up a KangaTek GO for the summer, but the Tab barely fits in the biggest pocket; luckily Neoprene stretches. It may be the best solution I've found so far, but I haven't worn it out in the summer yet...
