The Tab actually fits really well in this tool pouch.

The rear compartment is just about a perfect fit. I had purchsed this pouch for use in classes at school when we didn't need a full tool kit. I don't use it much, but now that I know that the tab fits in it, I think it'll come in handy a little more often.

Obviously this isn't an everyday carry solution, but for me to keep it handy while in class so I don't have to leave it unattended lying on a desk or in my bookbag, I think it'll work fine.

Sorry for the super late info on this pouch i have been using for my tab for over 2 months:

The size fits tab perfectly and the bag is soft and slim. i wear it with a belt and position the pouch right or left side of you (depends on how you want to access your tab) and looks reasonable for a guy's outfit. i have been searching for a pouch to hold my tab for a long time and finally decided on this due to it's slim size. i trust you'll like it too :)

I've been trying to carry it in my trouser front pocket and it kind of works, except it makes me walk with a 'bad boy' limp (you know, like you're carrying a knife in your pocket...)

I'm not putting it in a back pocket, because I don't know/trust the flex of the case and causing an LCD leak.

I really don't like the idea of a belt holster. because
a) it looks daft - like old man style,
b) it's on display, even if it's not the same size as an iPad, robbers will notice that you're carrying a big tablet on you
c) it just looks uncomfortable and dangerous to sit down with.

If you wear a suit jacket for work, I can see that potentially working, but for me, I think the best solution would be:
-Bluetooth headphones (sadly my Sony DG21B (i think) bluetooth headphones won't charge anymore)
-Something like the liveview
-Using a messenger bag or backpack.

I would probably look for a good Crumpler messenger bag for a DSLR with a couple of extra lenses and see if it will fit my Galaxy Tab.
