Is there way to disable on screen keyboard when hardware keyboard gets connected?

This would be very nice for Excel/Word on Polaris. Other things I want auto overwrite by typing over the cell. I had my Microsoft BT keypad connected it doesn't do anything until you touch cell to edit.

The only solution I know of is null keyboard from the market. It's basically a no kb kb. Lol the only thing that's a bit of a pain is when you use a BT kb you have to switch to the null kb and then back to your normal one when you're done using your BT kb
