Is this battery overkill?

Its 4.2V with 2500MAH
I know the the OEM battery is 3.8V
wondering if this is a safe difference
Edit again: never mind im dumb thats its charging limit
but still this look good?

I got one of the gold ones off Amazon for under $5. It is a bit worse than the OEM battery. Basically, all of the batteries that fit the stock location (i.e., no large battery door) are no better than stock. The Anker 1900 have been the closest to OEM in my experience.

No experience with that battery, but if it delivers what it claims to rated at (2500 mAh) it will be an improvement over stock (1730 mAh). And good for you to take note of the voltage. Wrong voltage = bad ju ju for your phone.

Yeah, I've got one of the gold batteries, and it is definitely not 2450mAh. It drains way more quickly than the stock HTC battery.
