Hi guys, I sent my phone off to Sony to repair a 'sudden death bug' that my phone had gotten, but when it came back from the repair centre there was an app on my phone called QCDiagTool, I've got the apk and I'll attach it to this post, but is this of any real use to anyone?

I tried it out and it basically does a full test of the phone e.g. vibrator, sensors, speakers, NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi etc.

As it does basically the same as the service menu you can uninstall it.

Luckily, I was able to get to the home screen, then I force closed this app and everything's ok now.

I've used it twice now and it did the test but hasn't wiped anything, it just showed a reminder message telling me to format both storages once the test had finished, I do have a question though, what does it mean when it asks for the clock number? Is that the frequency my CPU is running at?

Can this be used in any way for people having hardware issues?

The clock number im guessing is for time or the engineer for when the test is done so the report can be uploaded and they know which person did the tests as the app is made by a company called sbe who are sonys official repair centre in the uk
