Is this possible? can you switch one carrier Rom to another carrier rom? I have the T-Mobile version of the tablet and the other version is the at&t version. So is it possible to switch the t-mobile rom on the lg g pad x 8.0 to the At&t version of the rom, or is it not possible because of possible little hardware changes?

What are these little hardware changes? More ram? Better cpu? New chipset? If it only is something like "more storage" or "you can now add more sd card space" you can probably port it. Got any link for that at&t rom?

I think everything is almost the same, with the storage and even the CPU, I think they might have 2 separate cpus, some models have the snapdragon 615 and some have the 617, they seem to be the same processor anyway except the 617 is a bit faster. Both at&t and t-mobile use the 617, I think the earlier models used the 615 , but now all of the models use the 617. I don't have the at&t rom and wouldn't know where to find it, I wanted to know if it was possible to switch the rom to a different carrier. I was thinking that LG would have the specs slightly differently so that you could only use the rom for whatever carrier the tablet is.

Not related to roms but has anyone taken an AT&T G Pad X 10.1" running 5.0.1 or 5.1 (can't remember which one it said) and popped a cricket sim card in it and used it?
