Is this the correct firmware for UK 710?

Just found this on NaviFirm Plus

Is this the Unbranded UK 7.8 firmware ?

I'm guessing CV = Country Variant and GB = Great Britain ?

I don't want any of the operator branding, just the Nokia stock ROM

use german country variant, bluetooth transfer is included in this firmware.

You can use nearly any firmware on any 800.

I have the 710

I know I could flash any firmware for the 710 despite country, but just wondering if that would cause problems such as the system language being defaulted to something I can't read or change to UK

Or if it will cause problems anywhere else such as the marketplace

You should not run into any problems. I have had various versions on my 800, German, Chinese variants etc, and they have all had English and worked with the marketplace. AFAIK the marketplace region is tied to the live account used.

Cool thanks for that, everything seems fine with the one I flashed now I have BTFT installed
