Issue with volume resetting itself to a lower value! how to fix?

I'm running Whompasaurus V2.9 rom w/ Perseus Kernel 33.4, Android 4.1.2

So the issue is my volume. Here's an example:

• Set ringer volume and media volume to max.
• wait for about 10 seconds, see that both set volumes automatically decrease for 3 notches above vibrate
• I can replicate the problem over and over

The issue hasn't arise before. The only thing I installed was Greenify (but I uninstalled to see if the issue still occurs. I doesn't.

Have anyone seen this issue before?
