it is possible to port rom from hammerhead to cancro?

hi,
since no more rom update on cancro except mokee and buggy twrp 3.2 with random reboot when its hot, i'm thinking of port rom from another device with same spec like hammerhead maybe it is possible? anyone tested it?

It might be doable, but there's a lot of work to do than just changing lines in the build.prop and directly flashing it. We're talking about a different device here, even with the same SoC. Apple and Orange are both fruit, but it was a whole different fruit altogether.

And it still doesn't counting that Xiaomi's kernel source for cancro is crappy (and outdated, no further than MM) as hell...
