i am using 2 A charger for about one year and the battery is good as new ;)
I am using sony cp-ad2 for 1 year and it has got the fastest of all charging on 2.1 Ampere. It is the best charger and there is no harm in using it.
Doesn't your device heat up? When using a 1,5 A charger my device becomes really hot even if I don't use it while charging.

no man, my device is little hot even with stock 0.7A charger... and same is with 2A charger... only difference is that i have a lot shorter charging time with 2A ;) :D

You can by all means use a 2.1 A mobile adapter. Your phone has an internal charger IC which will take only the amount of current that the manufacturer would have set it for. The reason that they provide 1A adapter, and not 2A is that the 1A adapter is smaller & lighter in size, and may also be slightly cheaper to produce.

I use 2.1 A asus charger, really quick only 1 hour, bfore i need 3 hour.
The problem is sometime touchscreen error, a bit hotter yeah. When i unplug for 1 minute it normal again.
I use "current monitor" app to test the current from the charger, with 0,7A it states 260-310 mah, but with 2,1A it states 720-802mah.
