I haven't received my Pixel 2 XL yet so I'm just taking notes..... Let me know if that's still too vague for you:)
Gotcha, I just didn't know the context of just saying "interesting". Like.. were you trolling my comments or taking notes or ... ? Glad to hear you didn't have ill intent behind it like I've seen in so many other posts. I really hope your phone is a good one. I will be watching this phone closely over the foreseeable future. That battery life was unreal. I was getting 3 to 4.5 hours screen on time by 50% drained.. my 6P is dead by then!

Is it really that bad? I'm starting to think this has been blown out of proportion. If this and the LG V30 use the same screen, why haven't there been a lot of bad press about the LG V30? Did I miss it? Also my S8 has a blue shift if you tilt it far enough. You gotta tilt it pretty far to see it, to the point where no one in their right mind would ever use their phone at such an angle, but it's still there. Should I return my S8, now?

Can't speak to the GPS issues. I had some Bluetooth issues, but like I said, it may not have been the phone.
As far as the display - it wasn't "bad" per se - I've seen worse. My complaint was it isn't good enough - especially on a $1000 device.
To reinforce my point, if you put my Pixel 2 XL side-by-side against my 3-year old+ Nexus 6, the difference is mind-blowing. Motorola hit it out of the ballpark with this display. That was what really did it for me.

And for the record, my Nexus 6 also has an OLED screen. Still no burn-in that I can see and that sucker is on, all the time.
yup.. still got my Nexus 6 as well, but it doesn't get much use anymore.. just something to fiddle around with at home or as a backup device.

still.. I'll agree there. one of the best phones that were made. that's why I still have it :)

No. No it is not that bad. And the people complaining about it wouldn't have even noticed were it not for a few snotty YouTubers who wanted to trash the Pixel. Whatever. I'll happily keep trucking with my XL2. It has some weird little issues like any phone, but no show stoppers.

Do we really need another thread like this? Multiple people have posted threads with their issue with the phone and that they're returning it, which is well and fine, but we do not need multiple threads about it. If you feel the need to post about returning the phone for whatever reason, please locate a thread that's already open. Thank you. =)
