I've given up on this phone and selling it

After a month and some time with this phone, I am thoroughly unsatisfied and plan to sell it. I'm going back to Sony phones. The phone is generally fine but I have some particular issues with it that I decided I actually do need. First the problems,
1. Can't comfortably hold the phone because of the curved screen. I can't seem to stop the phone from scrolling and jumping all over the damn place cause fo the curved screen. Even if I turn it off. Apps routinely switch and scroll randomly when I'm simply trying to read the screen.
2. It can find it's way to the bootloader in my pocket. This has happened 3 times now. I pull my phone out to see it's in the bootloader ready to flash something. I have never had a phone do this and there is no reason being in my pocket will lead to this. I'm blaming bad hardware and software UI for that.
3. Useless fingerprint sensor. Tried using it with a screen protector and could never actually work no matter how much I recalibrated.
4. Camera oversharpens and pictures come out blurry. I don't understand why this happens so consistently.

Other than that, I just miss premium features like AptX, high resolution audio, and a decent IP rating. I tried to give Motorola another chance but this was not it. Anyone interested in buying it from me? It has a 2 year geek squad replacement plan on it.

I'm sorry your having problems. I love mine and it works well at everything you listed negatives for. I have the zagg screen protector and my fingerprint works fine. I don't have random scroll issues. Sounds like a pocket issue, never heard of such a thing.

So you said that you miss AptX HD ? But have you look at what processor it is in your Motorola Edge ? The SD 765G has AptX Adaptive which means next generation of AptX . Take a look at Qualcomm's site before talking because even a little missunderstanding could get into making trouble on opinion to choose the right phone .
It can go almost as high as AptX HD and by almost I mean a difference of 420kbit/s to 576 Kbits on bluettoth and 24-bit / 48kHz sampling rate to 24bit / 96kHz sampling rate .
So in conclusion the AptX Adaptive is kinda of AptX HD but better in line by high res and better in audio latency but lower in high res over bluettoth.
And by the way if you don't have something like Sony XM3 or XM4 to activate the AptX either one it doesn't matter if it has it or not cause it will not use it .
Otherwise the LDAC codec by Sony is superior to any AptX existent by now . So if you want the ultimte high res experience I think you should choose a integrated codec on headphones like Sony's.
Get good buddy :good:
