HW video playback isn't supported yet in the last build we got for tipo.. Youtube doesn't work either.. But you can playback video using MX Player, download it from Play Sore.. I tested it and it works.. :good:

    NEWS FEED
    [30.10.2014]
We are using new kernel now and new HALs too. Camera and video playback are still not working. Bug with screen wake came back (because new kernel).
New build for JLO already came out, build for Miro will be availabe soon.
Project status is Beta since almost everything is working.

Working on legacy devices is very time consuming and mostly the time spend on the projects gives no results which is frustrating.
I suggest to everyone to install stock JB, remove all rubbish from system/app and install custom kernel until we fix those things. Of courses if you're fine with not working camera and other few bugs, go ahead to use Kitkat.
I frequently get private messages which say "please fix camera in CM11". Please read this post before you PM me again :(

hope you understand we're human beings too and this is not our daily work.

Do not make any soft-mods or custom roms or ports based on your releases. If you want to make your own rom compile it from source like we do.

    Code:
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * or any bad consequences of using this ROM. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! It's only your decision to make those modifications.
    * Every act of accusing us for above will be ignored.

    FAQ:

    - Learn how to flash custom roms.
    2. GSM doesn't work in CM11, help!
    - CM11 requires downgrade to ICS baseband.
    3. Function XYZ doesn't work, please fix!
    - Give us some more information of issue, most wanted thing is logcat and good describtion how "it happened"
    4. Does XYZ work?
    - Check by yourself and let us know if it's not listed in the thread.
    5. Can I use PA'gapps or Slim gapps with this rom?
    - Slimmed kitkat gapps shouldn't make any problems, however I recommend using official gapps from CM site.

Periodically updates maybe will be better for we, the people who arent developers :p Anyway, thank you tamsui team, but it looks like @joebonrichie is working in taoshan and he forgot the tipo.

He didn't forget. We cannot spend every weekend on that project.
    Let me clarify something.

At this moment we need new kernel with ION support so that we well be able to work out camera and other bugs.
joebonrichie is our "kernel master" and I'm waiting for him to finish kernel. He already gave me some instructions but I do not have time to do this.
Also what stops me from making any progress is that I'm getting compile errors and I have no idea where they come from. Errors are in bootable/recovery/minui/graphics_something.c

Okay, people. I know I have no authority over you, I'm just one of you, but please, shut up. Can you please read the title of the thread? It reads:

    {J/MIRO/TIPO/E}[DEVELOPMENT] - CyanogenMod 11 - TamsuiCM11 |Alpha builds|

The important part is in bold. Alpha builds. Alpha is the first stage of software development - software in this stage can be unstable, and is not for daily usage. Bugs will be there. Problems will arise. Please don't just make useless "this doesn't work, fix it now" posts. If you do that, at least please attach logcats - that might actually be helpful.

And one more thing, before you post:

Xperia E (nanhu): Flash 0.47 firmware, reinstall CM11, do not use any kernel other than the one provided.

Xperia J (jlo): Flash ICS firmware, reinstall CM11.

Xperia Miro (mesona): Don't have CM11 for daily use. End of story.

Tipo doesn't have a build yet, it seems.

Once again, I know I have no authority over you, you have the right to mash your keyboard all you want, but this is not an order or command; it is a request. Please. Also, don't reply to this post saying that you agree. Press the Thanks button or shoot me a PM.

EDIT: One last thing; suggest no mods, lozohcum has made it clear that the CM11 released will be completely pure - no vold.fstab tweaks (thank gods), no Halo, no Windows Vista Crap Edition, no nothing.

Also, I'm sorry if anybody finds this offensive. I don't mean to intentionally offend any person. Thank you.
