Hi there, got a wierd issue with Garmin Fenix3 and SM-J320FN (RR) - device sees Fenix3 in BT list, but with Connect app from Garmin its unable to find device and pair.
While tested same phone and Garmin Fenix 5x - pairing worked , pairing Fenix 3 and Galaxy S8 stock - all fine, same with S10 , it seems plenty of whine on Garmin site on this theme but no working solution. Or perhaps, someone got hints how to debug Bluetooth stack info movement between SM-J320FN and Garmin Fenix3.
Computer can pair with Garmin, different Android 8-10 devices could pair … While there is lot of chat from 2017 and up about Fenix3 problems connecting with smartphones , including iOS got the problems.
Is it 7.X (Nougat/Lineage OS 14.1 ) particular story or ?
Already done all resets , reinstall Connect, wiping BT stack cache, wiping Dalvik/Cache, cleaning APP data.
Logging out and in to Garmin Connect did not help.
Suggestions how to snoop Bluetooth would be welcome.
