its the normal Global Google release, Verizon will be behind a day or two...
Source for that information? They either always or mostly consolidate their builds into one eventually, so unless there's official confirmation, it could be this might be the only image. Doesn't say Global. We'll find out eventually! 😂

Is this the same update that I've just received which is about 41.3mb?
Sounds more like a Google Play System update. What version are you on? They started rolling out the December Play System update just recently for those who haven't gotten it yet, so if you are on one earlier than December it may just be that and not the monthly security update, given that small size.

But then again, maybe it's a small one.

Its my opinion that, that is what Google first releases always.....now that doesnt mean everyone should just go use it relative to where they might be and whom is their carrier. The US carriers are always a day or so behind, and I think same for the European flavors...my opinion.

EDIT: Also, I am a Verizon customer and have NEVER run Verizon code on any of my Google devices. The base release works just fine....

EDIT: And for clarity, I am coming from the November release, so that may be the reason I am 215MB update??? just a thought

I had that a few days ago, on Dec 1 2021

As per cmh714 I'm on Dec update already so might just be an update to that but yeah I will post info once updated.
I'll post mine as well once I finish....But I can start with In the US, my carrier is VZW and I ONLY run Google code not Verizon code....My phone was on November Google code .036.....stay tuned

Please everybody check if you get the missed call notification... Doesn't work for me:

Please don't post in multiple threads asking about the same problem, especially since you created a dedicated question thread for the issue already. I tested and I'll answer you in the other thread.

Sorry but I originally thought it was a kernel problem. But it wasn't... So I created a thread and just wanted to share my experience in this update thread, regarding this issue....

    Sorry again

For T-Mobile: Update adds a bunch of n71-n41 NSA 5G carrier aggregation combos. Seem to rely on B46 though. n41C also present to allow an aggregated 200 MHz of the band. T-Mobile will only ever need 100+90.

No evidence whatsoever, my statement was based off an observation, previously the phone would use less than 50% in a day from unplugging, yesterday it used 81% - with what I would say is my normal usage, will see what today brings.
Was that 81% including the amount of battery used to actually update? Hopefully, the battery performs better for you in the very near future. I only charge between 25% and 75%, and that 50% usually lasts me a day as well, so I'll be monitoring to see if it seems about the same or not.

I did the January update yesterday and MMS didn't work afterward so did a factory reset to fix it. I posted about this and got good pointers on how to fix it.

This update has REALLY improved my mobile connectivity. The phone isn't constantly polling 5G like it was before and it hands off between 5G, 5G UC and LTE much better.

There are a couple locations where signal is weird and it drops down to H+.

I'm really glad that this appears to have addressed the majority of my signal issues.

Fingerprint scanner is so much faster...
A lot of people seem to be saying this. I noticed it was faster before I saw other people comment, so don't think it's placebo on my part.

I never take chances. I always factory flash without wiping. OTAs are such a messy process.

So far, things are very stable.

flashed the january build last night and after using it all day I'm extremely happy with it. Far smoother UI experience, Battry life has been excellent and thats just on first cycle, not had system UI force close yet when was happening 4 times a day on november, no problems with blutooth dropping to my jabra 75t's, blutooth earphone volume when listening to music is much better, gboard not having weird stutters when typing. Will see how this continues but so far after a days use I'm very happy.
