I've been using my jas-jar for a week now and noticed that when I send or recieve files through bluetooth or infrared all I get is a notification that file is being sent/recieved there is no progress meter or anything like that and my friend who is transferring/recieving file on his phone [SonyEricsson w800i] gets a nice bar which shows the speed and how much has been transferred and how much is remaining. This fact annoys me a little any workaround?

It's a limitation of the MS BT stack. On my old XDA2i the Broadcom stack (which at first I hated) was MUCH better and was space-age compared to the options provided with the Exec / JasJar.

I'm still kinda hoping for someone to work out some sneaky way of installing a BC stack into the Exec - I'd swap it out in a heartbeat.

As for getting round it yourself...there may be a tool somewhere on the net that can add to the functionality somewhat. Have a search about.

Cheers
