Cheers.
@Blechd0se this kernel is not working OK for me, it consumes all available memory causing services to fail and restart continuously and my launcher to be killed all the time. A much worse user experience overall.

Kernel Seems to work fine here.....Hi. Works not by me. I get red led light.
Custom recovery also dont works... :crying:Kernel Seems to work fine here.....

Hi. Works not by me. I get red led light.
I have the same issue, with the new kernel by Blechd0se my device doesn't boot.Custom recovery also dont works... :crying:
Thanks for your help. But I get "E:signature verification failed" message in stock recovery now...I have the same issue, with the new kernel by Blechd0se my device doesn't boot.
@Djonmayer, if you don't want to flash a sbf to restore your defy, just flash the unlocked recovery and then the latest build by quarx (or a working kernel). You will lose no data/app
Ah i see, thanks for log. Btw. did you overclock cpu?Attempting to boot without zcache now, let's see if it will make a difference.

And yes, problem found, without zcache the problem is gone. @Blechd0se, seems there's a problem with zcache, kills the RAM in some of us.
Yes I overclocked to 1.2GHz and is working quite well for meAh i see, thanks for log. Btw. did you overclock cpu?
I can reproduce the low-ram problem, i just didn't notice the difference in UI. It was the same for me having 50mb free or 200mb.
Everything was running wellFor those of you who encountered problems; just delete cmdline in my update.zip before flashing
or delete "zcache" manually in /system/bootmenu/2ndboot/cmdline
I have some ideas about this problem, need to investigate it, but maybe its intended because zcache stores its transparent
pages directly in ram (obviously compressed) and therefore its not "good" for memory hungry applications and a swap
partition such as zram is recommended. You can try enabling zram and see if your applications runs smarter.
We can set the space zcache takes in ram, maybe i should look there.
Zcache is probably usefull for those who have either no problems with big apps or for those who already use some sort
of swap. At least oracle recommends that and because its only a bootparameter its easy to change. Need to find the sweet spot here![]()
I am not having wifi jamming problem.. wifi is not switching ON, it's just trying to switch on and fails to do so.First off, try this.
Thanks for this, i'll try to replace that /wifi folder, without unzipping (using 7zip)Second, you can't unzip a file that is meant to be flashed through recovery. If you want/need to add/delete/change files, you need to do it without unzipping the file, preferably with 7zip.
Actually I replaced it with the wifi folder of last build that worked for me ( CM10 0703 ), hoping that it contained wifi driver installation.Third, if anything, you shouldn't have deleted the /system/etc/wifi folder. If you did in fact delete that folder, you'll never get wifi to turn on.
The procedure I followed was full wipe for newer builds (always). You shouldn't have to delete any wifi folder with the newer builds to get it to work. Maybe you hadn't wiped your /data partition before flashing; if not, next time you could either do a full wipe, which includes /data and /system, and then try again, or delete the /data/misc/wifi folder, which might have contained information regarding your previous setup, since you didn't wipe /data.
heard about zswap yet?Ah i see, thanks for log. Btw. did you overclock cpu?

Does it work with CM10 as well?I'm sorry, mi last wifi fix zip didn't make the changes for the file wifical.sh and wifical.sh_disabled. This one does it all, I hope![]()
Yes it does !Does it work with CM10 as well?
The kernel hasn't got much to do with overclocking... Go into bootmenu to set your clocks. My 4th clock is 1100mhz with vsel set at 54. But not every CPU is the same and not every can work with the same amount of power - some can work with even less, some need more. For 1.1ghz, start from 57 and try getting it lower, one by one. For 1.2ghz, start at 63, or something like that I guess (haven't pushed mine to 1.2 yet)Is the overclock only to 1Ghz? or can i find a kernel with higher oc?
