Install the latest ROM and then install the latest kernel. Don't install kernel multiple times. It will be useless.

Defy supports 64gb?The new built got some problems with my 64gb SD-card. It always reports a damaged card on startup - even though the recovery can access the card without problems.
Sometimes the phone will reboot just after reporting the card issue and afterwards the card works fine.
Yes, I have the same issue. In my case there were coincident events: I replaced my old Kingston 32GB class 4 class by a Samsung Ultra 64GB class 10 one, at the same time the 2ndboot builds came up. So, I first thought it might be a problem with the card, but, from your post, I now think it might be related to the ROM/Kernel. It happens often when I reboot my Defy. Sometimes it can be solved by connecting it to my notebook and setting 'Memory Card Access' and back to 'Charge Only'. Other times, a new reboot is needed. Either way, luckily, no data are lost on the card. The new built got some problems with my 64gb SD-card.
