How to check if my cache and data partition is in ext3 or ext4 format
I tried to format my cache and data partitions to ext4, but when i selected Bootmenu --> Tools --> File System Tools --> Format DATA and CACHE to ext4, the phone didn't respond for sometime. Then it returned back to the Bootmenu. So I'm not sure if format to ext4 worked!! Is there a way to check the current format of my cache and data partitions??

in terminal use this:


mount | grep data


This will show you all you need to know of /system, /data, /cache

Including if it is ext3 or ext4

Last build work great , but Wi-Fi connection don't work for me after using Mobile data until disable mobile data and reboot the phone ...

I followed the must post have had anybody same problem ?

I'm having a weird problem on the CM10 09-11 Update. When I connect the Phone to A/C charger, It shows the White LED for some time. and then suddenly, poof, the white LED is gone and does not charge.

It charges fine when it is connected to the A/C Charger but it just randomly gets disconnected or something. The USB cable is fine as the Phone gets detected when it is connected to the PC.

Has anybody had this problem before? Any ideas on how to solve this?

Update 17.11.2012 works on Defy green lens

Hi,
can confirm. Update 17.11. works with no probems on Defy gren lens.
Working Wifi, Ril, gps, Navigon, and now at firs barco.

You should flash the latest ROM.

hello, i am getting corrupted recovery every now and then in last build. The problem was there with kayant's last PACman ROM too. i think the issue might be the new Bootmenu 2.1 beta. Can i flash the older bootmenu or will that break a few stuff?

the erro i get with custom and stock recovery is:

E:cant mount /sdcard/

I need ans a bit urgently...thnx in advance

Edit 1 : reinstalled SndInit app from themes and apps(very old ...sad:/) and now recovery works again. But this shouldnt have happened. ..
Edit 2 : Now stuck on "Red M" bootlogo.

In sndinit app thread it says you shouldn't install it if you are on CM, that you will need SBF flash, but if you can acces recovery, try the full wiper zip and flash it, good luck. Im just a noob, but you wont make it worse, again, good luck

DLNA, through HomeDia, is working even better!!!

In my last post about DLNA using HomeDia, which you can find here, I had to launch VLC in order to play video files stored on my computer. With the latest build (11/17), not anymore. Just after selecting the file, it starts playing on my Defy. Not sure if it is due to HomeDia or the default player. Anyway, thanks a ton, Quarx!

ya....realised that now. dunno if flashing sbf will help coz i have already done that after i flashed PACman which had the same issue. Doing some searching now. Seems it may be problem that cwm seems to think i have a partitioned sd and hence it is not mounted properly. damn....now need to backup 10 gb of data and try again...

Hi guys.
On my Defy+ i have tried CM10 since August.
Many people said that WiFi Tether doesn't work,
well... it worked from the first day on.
Now i can say that the latest build is perfect.
No errors, no issues, no lags... and my display doesn't freeze anymore (but THAT was not a problem of CM10).
I have no wishes... JB is perfect for me.
The ONLY thing is:
I'm missing the caller spell.
If someone calls me, my Stock-ROM speaked to me like "Incoming call from <CONTACTNAME> or <PHONENUMBER>".
If you can implement that function, it would be great.
If not... still good work.
If the developers at Moto, Samsung, HTC etc.. would work like you,
we wouldn't have problems like that.

Can you or someone explain further? I used 2.3 to install recovery on my Defy+ since it had some kind of "special support" for it, and it succeded (didn't tried anything yet). Does it mess up with CM or what?

Newest CM10 sets ext4. If you want to go back to anything else - you have to format to ext3.
Installation SBF restores file system.
