I made a flashable zip with ramdisk from CM10-20121128-NIGHTLY build. :)

You can use this as a workaround to make root permissions work again with the current CM10-20121204-NIGHTLY build until Quarx releases his fix to the root problem.

I tried it myself and it works. :cool:

I'm gonna wait for quarx's fix for this. But until then I have one request to Quarx:

Please quarx take a look at the phone apk... it's really buggy. If you use a third party ringtone it doesn't ring and lots of times you just can't answer the phone. At the end of the day we need to put the phone in the smart! The ROM is really fast and stable, but given that the phone app is unstable it's kind of hard to use it on everyday basis. I'm still using it, but some days it gets really annoying. For the ones who wants the phone to use as an electronic device is ok, but for the ones that need it as a phone, for work and stuff, it's kind of hard..

So, thanks again for your hard work, and if you get the time to take a look at it, i would really apreciate it.

I'm taking a wild guess here, but are you using a regular music mp3 as ringtone? If your are, maybe the file is just to heavy for the phone app to load correctly, try converting it to a lower bit rate (ringtones are usually .ogg files up to 80kbps mono) and cut only the part of the the file that you wish to use as a ringtone,.

I have the same problem.

Additionally, the free space calculation (touch the small lock, then select USAGE) doesn't work since 28/11, it shows full capacity graph (pink) for every volume with no text.

bugs?

Now downloading the new build.... but i never noticed the slow gallery problem and the ringtone problem....
I am using the4.2 gallery app its perfect...
I use default ringtones and non default ones from Apps... no problems here.
But still my 4 keys won't work hell Android even adds a menu key in apps because he doesn't recognize my buttons at all anymore...
Probably an hardware problem....they made me problems during the last weeks by not working and working randomly i just use on screen keys...

Sometimes Android takes a while to rotate but not all the time.
TSF SHELL 1.7.9 is amazing and ultra smooth! Try it guys!

Great work and contrasts on the nexus7 quarx!
Keep it up and our defys will be able to launch into space and teleport us soon!

BTW dunno if it's Google's problem or our rom but browser seem to have hard time syncing the content to the selection boxes...
Hard to click button links in short...
Otherwise the best browser!

my ringtones are .ogg-files and i have the ringtone problem.

Bug report

When I switch to Bluetooth or speakers during calls, the microphone doesn't function properly
There is a problem with conference calls (south east Asia 3.4.3-31) ...conference call works when I call both the people . But when I'm in conversation with a person and if I attend any incoming calls, the phone goes into hotboot
