Just clicked the settings icon in the notification and it opened settings



Wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache. Download MB525 version for Froyo kernel and MB526 for Gingerbread kernel, get the minimal gapps zip from Quarx's site or get the latest full one packed by Anternoz (it's in the Defy Themes and Apps forum). Flash ROM, then gapps, and wipe cache and dalvik again if you wish to, not necessary. :good:

How did you downgrade to Froyo kernal :S

USB tether is broken, settings force closes. No choice to choose network type.

Ok guys, My small journey of developement ends here due to following reason:

1. Time - I need to spend around 12 hours for office daily and now my study session started as well. I can not compromise any of these for developement on xda.

2. Resources - I've a real slow upload/download speed around ~30 KB/s which is not sufficient for this work. Although I get 6 MB/s download speed in torrents which is useless here. My hard disk space of laptop is also very low. Internet has been a real pain for me

3. My Defy's LCD is damaged and soon I will be switching to a new device.

But its not gonna be a bad news for you guyz because skeevy420 has already set up PA for bravo and he can build for defy/defy+ too. The best thing about him is that he already merged frameworks from quarx git. I will ask him to create a thread (as I am gonna close this one). If he has any problem in maintaining then Kayant is there for this JOB.

It was really a nice journey till here and I learnt a lot during this process.

I would specially like to thank Kayant and Quarx.
