Use nova launcher. This feature will not be added to the cm10 trebuchet launcher.

Decided... I'm coming back to paranoidandroid, had enough of hunting for a better rom, its just not going to happen.
so....
I'm currently on.... Xperia-Z-ized
so can i just download this, and the Kernal, do a full wipe and install it?
or is there a different way of doing it?
I'm fairly new to installing roms ect.

What kernel? Download any cm10.1 or cm10 kernel. Reboot recovery. Flash the kernel staying in recovery go to advance>reboot recovery. Now you are on cm kernel. Do all three wipes (factory reset/cache/dalvik) also including system and preload from mounts and storage menu. This is required if coming from TW roms. Flash rom and gapps. :)

hmmm, so goo.im is backup, though I think there might be a problem? Last time I downloaded this a couple days ago, I thought it all went fine, went to install, and there was an error in CWM when trying to start flashing it ("error in zip"). So then I realized the filesize was too small (sigh, I need to start verifying checksums...) - I went to download it again just now, and looks like it has just stopped at 61mb again (same filesize as when I downloaded it a few days ago). Does anyone know why this may be happening, or could anyone upload it elsewhere?

thanks!

I am currently on stock official Jelly bean rom, what steps do I need to take to flash this? I've rooted using Philz latest recovery
Any advice

Just do exactly what it says in the Original Post. It is all there. No one can give you better directions than that.
