just for anyone wondering if they can flash this rom or not.....

i was on stock rom 4.04. all i done was wipe factory reset, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik. flash hydracore kernel - rebooted.

back in cwm and done the wipes again, then flashed the paranandroid rom and then gapps. rebooted. back in cwm and flashed SU. rebooted and all good.

everything seems to be working great.....only slight lagging with the video camera.....though not tested properly...yet!!


so I THINK that if you want to come from a different rom, you need to have the hydra kernel and then all will be fine.....

Doesn't matter cause he mentioned that he flashed HydraCore then rebooted again into recovery before flashing paranoid

it was a chainfire one....can't remember which version....but he has separate ones depending which firmware you have.....

Does matter. He mentions wiping before flashing hydracore kernel. MUST flash safe kernel before wiping to prevent heartache. Stock ICS is not safe for wiping.

all i can say is that i use LARD with Hydracore 4.3b kernel and everything is smooth and works perfect for me.

Honestly can't tell the difference with lard flashed now. It was smooth before on earlier builds using it. Its still smooth on current builds without it. Seems more placebo to me

i have update from AbyssNotekernel42, but now i see only the Galaxy Note Boot Logo, and it hangs.

i have try to flash the Stock ICS or Stock GB rom via ODIN, but it is still the same.

what can i do ?

will it helps if i flash the Bootloader via ODIN ? if yes, where can i find the files ?

Man, there is no led in Note, but there is some mods to blink menu keys.

LB2 and LR1 are best for Israel. Lard - try it.

Rom has nothing to do with safe flashing, kernel does. Go here to find out what kernels are safe to wipe and flash from.

im trying to install lastest hydra kernel via CWM and stuck installing progress for more than 2 minutes.

Just reflash Abyss. Then reboot recovery, wipe data/factory reset, clear cache, clear dalvik cache, flash This rom, install GAPPS.
I used this method to install PA from RocketRom V10(ICS 4.0.4)


Also, what does Project LARD actually do? Fix the memory leak problem?
