Im aware of that, its just that i havent heard anything from asus yet regarding the TG version. Was just wondering if someone had tried forcing the update onto it.

Hopefully asus will update the TG soon.

Stopped dmclient, cleared data and cache, re checked, download error, repeated the same but also stopped cmclient, cleared its data and cache too, re checked and finally have a green download arrow in my notifications :)

Sadly with only a 2MB line, this will take a while...
Thanks a lot. Had the same problem with "Download Error...." Your method functioned. :D :good:

I kept root using voodoo and supersu as I read in the other threads. Worked perfectly

Ok ppl, I am now on JB! Did a factory reset, then green arrow came right back. Root seems to have survived, trying to restore root now.....

I've updated this morning by OTA, following the steps on other thread to keep root with voodoo ota rootkeeper and it went flawlessly.
On JB the transformer feels smoother and I like the new notifications.

A factory reset should wipe data, and root will also be gone. Make sure to test your root access, OTA RootKeeper might give a fake report.

Checked with ota rootkeeper, showed root and then installed update. Didn't want to install too many other apps just in case. Have successfully restored root in jb through ota root keeper, so root did survive factory reset! Just restoring apps through titanium.

Can't find a problem after updating to JB (yet)

Hi,

I'm new to this forum, greetings from Belgium !
Just wanted to report I'm very happy with the TF300T and even more after the JB 4.1.1 Update.
Update went as I expected (after reading this thread) and until now (after trying for about 4 hours) I couldn't find any problem with the Apps (the ones Itried of the over 200 installed) I have been using.
I did, as people here described, perform a few restarts before actually using the new JB version (just to make sure).
System feels much more responsive compared to 4.0.3.

Good luck,
Stefaan.
