Flash it, test nandroid and let us know.Does this kernel have the same fate as it's ics counterpart in its inability to do nandroid backup and restores?

A couple of guys posted theirs in Anidroid thread yesterday. Why don't you pop over there and check it out?Hi, could anyone post his settings for undervolting under nstools ?
Manually.Hi chasmodo
I'm wondering wich tool are you using to extract the kernel and make it flashable. Or are you doing it manually?
Cheers
Sorry, didn't see there yet, thanksA couple of guys posted theirs in Anidroid thread yesterday. Why don't you pop over there and check it out?
Notecore thread would be a good place to have a look-see, too.
doesn't sound like a hard brick since you haven't wiped, plus i am assuming you were running a CM9 kernel which is safe.Sorry, didn't see there yet, thanks

Sorry again,
just tried to flash latest Ani Kernel for CM9 and am stuck at galaxy note logo.
Impossible to enter recovery, only download mode but don't have any cable at the moment.
When plugging the charger the charging animation is incomplete and stuck.
Did not wipe anything.
Could this be a hard brick ?
Is there any way to force recovery without the cable ?
Thanks, that's what I planned to do when I get a cable backdoesn't sound like a hard brick since you haven't wiped, plus i am assuming you were running a CM9 kernel which is safe.
Just flash DAFUQ from ODIN and from it flash the latest CM9 kernel from OP.
Then if you wish, you could try AniDroid again.
Perhaps an even quicker way would be to flash CM9_safe_kernel.tar using PC Odin, reboot to recovery, do the wipes and flash AniDroid. One less kernel flash this way. Thanks, that's what I planned to do when I get a cable back
true assuming he wants to try AniDroid againPerhaps an even quicker way would be to flash CM9_safe_kernel.tar using PC Odin, reboot to recovery, do the wipes and flash AniDroid. One less kernel flash this way.![]()
Well I'm kinda stubborntrue assuming he wants to try AniDroid again![]()
It's not, don't worryWell I'm kinda stubborn
And it's also assuming my phone is not bricked![]()
You can flash anything you like from the safe CM9 kernel.true assuming he wants to try AniDroid again![]()
I know, so there isn't a difference between using that or DAFUQYou can flash anything you like from the safe CM9 kernel.![]()
