Since this is the first official kernel after a while I cannot tell you what are its new features, sorry. CM10 changelog is simply too big for me to dig up everything.

All the future iterations will have a changelog, I promise.

Looking at the official BBQ changelog, I can't see any kernel-related.

There are TONS of changes actually when digging in github between preview #5 and this first official nightly. BBQlog has nothing to do with previews so stuff dont show sometimes, now that the nightly is out it should be accurate.

The reason is that they have changed smdk tree 3 times between first preview and this first nightly.

Yeah...you're right, I have to be more exact - I didn't noticed changes in kernel between 13.09 version and the current.

Between my 13 sep kernel and this one there is no change but people prefer an official tag so I asked chasmodo to change

AniDroid_Kernel_v1.2_20092012_CWM_Flashable.zip posted in the OP.

Changelog:

Linux Kernel updated to 3.0.43 
CPU default voltage for 1600 MHz increased by 25 mV due to stability issue
KSM support enabled (Kernel Samepage Merging) to optimize memory usage

A word of caution again: this is an ICS kernel, DO NOT flash it on JB Roms.

 - Updated to latest Note 2 N7100 official kernel source, 3.0.31
 - Bluetooth fixes for non TW roms
 - USB fixes for non TW roms

Additional information 1: This version has video recording problems, so do not flash it if you need this function. It will be corrected by Gavin today or tomorrow.

Hello,

I have tested hydra 5.1 OC with : [ROM] RocketMIUI v4 - 4.0.3 - based on MIUI 2.9.21 - multilang. - [Update 09/25]

there is recording audio issue : svoice crash, google search crash and return : "audio record problem"
with hydra 3.5 : it works well.
with hydra 4.3B oc : it works well.

I'm afraid Hydra v5.1 got more issues than only no video recording...
Perhaps you keep version v4.3b also available on first post...

It will not be posted here if Gavin doesn't have it posted in the HC OP (and he doesn't). He has his reasons and I don't want to aggravate him.
Anyone willing to do a simple search can find links to his kernel repository in the HC thread.
